If you ever feel yourself getting emotional by a news story or post or whatever, train yourself to become aware of it and then take a step back and take a few breaths…and then take a step forward and then take a step back and we’re doing the cha-cha. Seriously, though, if you get emotional there’s a strong chance that that is intentional and you are being strung along. Take a break, breathe and think about whether anyone has anything to gain by your emotional turmoil (it’s certainly never you). And of course, always follow the money.
