Ha, funny how often I do something and then shortly after you post a super informative piece along similar lines - undertook a chaoticised allotment apple tree yesterday, think I made a good start, perhaps going a bit further than your one. Def one to spread over a couple of years.

Not the most appropriate spot to mention it but MARMITE END JAR TIP -> put some boiling water in the jar, swill around & you've got an excellent (non-investment) stock for your stews etc.
