Got out in 16*F temps to finish off the #Winter100Challenge with a 1.1mi hike at Mount St. Joseph for a total of 100.7mi in 2.5 months. Now I can hibernate for the rest of the winter…see y’all in spring! 🤣 #myadventurechallenge #dogsofbluesky

Tried to finish the #Winter100Challenge but came up 1/2mi short after a 9.2mi hike through the #TwinValleyTrail northern backpacking loop. Started challenging but eased up as we went. Followed a raccoon for about 1/4mi down the trail. More below… #dogsofbluesky #myadventurechallenge

Tried to finish the #Winter100Challenge but came up 1/2mi short after a 9.2mi hike through the #TwinValleyTrail northern backpacking loop. Started challenging but eased up as we went. Followed a raccoon for about 1/4mi down the trail. More below… #dogsofbluesky #myadventurechallenge

Working on finishing the #Winter100Challenge with another 5.6mi. Took a bike path from one MetroPark to another before crossing the #GreatMiamiRiver into the heart of #DaytonOH with the #WagtownTrail. Sprinkles won’t stop us! Gotta change up the sniffs! #dogsofbluesky #myadventurechallenge

Working on finishing the #Winter100Challenge with another 5.6mi. Took a bike path from one MetroPark to another before crossing the #GreatMiamiRiver into the heart of #DaytonOH with the #WagtownTrail. Sprinkles won’t stop us! Gotta change up the sniffs! #dogsofbluesky #myadventurechallenge

Waiting for a driver to take my car away, snuck in 3 miles at Duke Park and Robinson Reserve in #TroyOH. Nice lil park with a #dogpark, various sports fields, a fishing pond, playgrounds, and a walking trail. #dogsofbluesky #Winter100Challenge #myadventurechallenge
Today's quest was at #AntiqueVillage, an indoor antique flea market. Dogs did well with the narrow aisles after a few collisions. Opal even showed off & booty danced for a stranger. Coral gave out a few shy licks. Not really my sort of venue, but nice enrichment for the dogs. #dogsofbluesky

Through the year, my kiddos get very little human food, except for their #birthday! Boiled potatoes & carrots before adding them to ground turkey to brown. At the end, added a splash of chicken broth. ZERO issues with Opal eating veggies this year! Followed it with a little ice cream #dogsofbluesky

Argonne Forest has a long history back to the 40’s of being a public outdoor space. When it was community gathering place, there was a dance floor, swimming pool in the middle of the creek with diving boards, battle re-enactments, baseball fields, concessions, etc. Only a small sample shown here…

The holiday event I was looking forward to was cancelled due to the weather…bummer. Decided to still get the pups out to see #Santa and picked up a tray of holiday cookies! Opal was a bit apprehensive but warmed up. Coral wanted nothing to do with Santa! (My hand is on her shoulder) #dogsofbluesky

However, I do like to mix it up with the dogs periodically and go for a short run during our hikes. Dogs were obviously confused at first 🤣 #dogsofbluesky

Enrichment for the dogs. Went and checked out two different holiday light drive-thrus, about a mile apiece. Windows down and letting the dogs check it all out. Even saw a Sasquatch! #dogsofbluesky
