I’m an English teacher. Tbh I don’t create process writing to make steps but to ensure student think about their writing along the way, and I check in as they do it. The conversations along the way are the real process. Teaching metacognition and conscious writing choice.

Many years ago, William Kent Krueger came to my book club and said the same thing.

For real, I just finished the book World of Wonders, and if I remember the narwhal chapter correctly, it’s for tasting or sensing prey. Not what I thought it would be.
