Sorry I had to hop back in this thread to clarify that all these things were expensive, time consuming, and incredibly draining on my support network, my lifetime, and bank account. I couldn’t get the help I needed till I worked for a rich company that cared for their employees

Meds, putting the work in to find professionals that “get you”. Taking planned time off dial in your meds so that it doesn’t mess with maintaining your life. Constantly iteration of med cocktails

Being gracious to myself when I can’t do things like others. Being proud when I can do things better because of the same reasons I struggle with the other stuff

I think that was important for me. Taking time to appreciate and be content with incremental improvements for a hot minute so I could tackle the next behavior I wanted to work on

Yes. I “made it”. It’s a different kind of masking and exhaustion. I am constantly in a growth mindset with my self awareness critical thinking on full blast. Therapy is good and so is giving yourself breaks from self improvement
