We have a Democratic Party of bought politicians who are cool with funding a genocide against Muslims. To disqualify him (the only chance of unseating a republican) based on possible scandal that doesn’t reflect his platform, we’re not even playing politics anymore, we’re in a popularity contest.

I’m not going to blindly defend anyone. I never accepted his story as hard fact. But I was saying that to completely disregard the possibility of its truth is even more foolish, especially with what’s at stake.

Him and his buddies thought it was just a skull and crossbones. He was vetted multiple times in the military for his tattoos and had not gotten flagged for it. If you KNEW you had a hateful tattoo and were willing to cover it up, why would you ever go shirtless while running for senate. Use ur head.

The explanation in his response was perfectly plausible. We might never kno for sure but to just assume he’s got something to hide, especially when he’s taken accountability for it, is absolute idiocy.

You’re seriously going to base his judgement, as a person, right now, on a tattoo him and his military buddies drunkenly picked out nearly two decades ago?
I understand being skeptical and holding him accountable but if we’re requiring a spotless track record for candidates, we’re def cooked.

If we want less zionists and establishment democrats in congress, yeah, let’s bash an actually good candidate who’s not either of those things. the fuck are we doing here?

His responses to the criticisms are not only plausible; they’re an example of the accountability and room for change that we’ve been striving for in our elected officials. Unfortunately, some people have already made up their mind and choose not to entertain the idea.
