Fox and other right wing propaganda outlets will cherry pick footage of a bad actor protestor and play it over and over. Like always, republicans will cheer Trump for saving the country. Jan 6th was framed as a peaceful demonstration or a bunch of tourists invited in, and the republicans bought in.

You missed my point. I stated what I believe to be a significant contributor to poor turnout. A lot of people were upset we didn’t have primary. Plus dems lost ground across all demographics. At some point you have to offer more than vote for my guy or you’re going to be miserable.

We’ve been given the lesser of 2 evils option too many times. I know there are many factors, but hiding Biden’s deficiencies and then not giving us a primary certainly didn’t help. Sanders got squeezed out in 2016 because it was Clinton’s turn, then Biden’s turn, then Harris’s.

I’m confident 4, possibly 6 current justices would be on the wrong side of history if Dred Scott or Brown v. Board was in front of them today. Having a law degree and working at a prestigious firm means little. Bar tenders turned activists are the type of people that rise to the times.
