I mean not really. Jesus states many times that only through him can you achieve salvation. While yes the doctrine of Hell isn't in the Bible, neither universalism. At best annihilationism is the closest to what the New Testament preaches for unbelievers. You dont have a leg to stand on here.

Okay you got me there. I had forgot about that guy. However he and his like minded early christians were still the minority and his idea of universal salvation isn't supported by the Bible. Universal salvation isn't even supported by Jesus himself.

The conservative / fundamentalist side has had the power and influence for the majority of your religions history. They're still the majority today. Your universalism is a fairly new concept, invented in 1800s by a small minority.
