Snow is melting. This was taken at Swiss Valley Park in Iowa. I developed Leukemia a year before COVID happened. CLL tends to be a slow disease for which there is no cure. Trump & company's position on scientific research, makes it worse for those with a variety of diseases. Thanks GOP.😡

This will be turning to slush over the next few days. I ordered a bunch of seeds for veggies to grow since I don't see prices coming down. Between the frigid weather and the flu, few in the neighborhood are sticking their noses out. Dubuque County, where I live, was a blue county, and now it's red.

I live in Iowa in a formerly blue county in this red state. Right now this whole "Musk/Trump take a machete to the federal government" is starting to sink in. Yes, the people of Iowa are finding out how the federal government is involved in their life.
