Pass a law requiring federal officers to identify themselves, prohibit them from wearing masks and requires them to show judicial paperwork before arrest.

Dont see any changes yet, Buffalo's a small city so we never really go through boom or bust cycles, we kind of just always keep chugging along. Really dont think this idiots tariff policies will affect us as much as it will other cities

I cant stand Trump, hes a piece of sh human being. Voted for Kamala in Nov and Biden in 2020. My thoughts on Canadas sovereignty are my own. As far as invading, we shouldnt have to. Spend more on defense and the US can worry less about your borders.
December 29, 2024 at 7:45 PM
Your first graphic starts by talking about median and then every statistic below it, is an average lol smh
December 29, 2024 at 7:25 PM
In regards to making Cananda a state, i dont have a strong opinion on that. I see reasons for and against. Im not a Trump fan but he sees Canada as weak and Ill admit ive always thought Canada would be an extension of Russia if the US wasnt your neighbor.
December 29, 2024 at 7:22 PM
In regards to your graphic above, its still way cheaper to buy here in the the US. Even those figures show an almost 300k difference in price. That is significant and my numbers showed an even greater discrepency.

Those average prices for single family homes i mentioned earlier, were not for Buffalo. It was the entirety of the US and Canada as a whole. Owning a home in Canada is a pipe dream unless your rich. My 19 year old son almost bought a house. Big difference.
December 29, 2024 at 5:52 PM
Its simple, prices went up and people dont like when prices go up. And even then were still a much more affordable place to live than Canada and its not even close. You guys shop here in the US, EVEN with our inflation. Even with that Inflation you can buy a single family home for 200k.
December 29, 2024 at 5:48 PM
My son bought a new car recently but originally he wanted to buy a home, saved up 20k to buy his first home, 19 years old. He does HVAC and lives at home with us and was able to save. He decided to get a car instead though. 19 years old, i cant complain. But he could have bought a house if he wanted
December 29, 2024 at 5:29 PM
sad that you think im gas lighting. You think 800k for a single family home is normal because its the only thing you know. Thats just very sad, how could anyone afford a home in Canada, i dont know. I had no clue it was that bad but thats whats great about these conversations, we learn a lot
December 29, 2024 at 5:19 PM
Americans think its expensive getting into a bidding war for a home thats listed at 180k and sells for 250k. You guys start at 800k lol.
December 29, 2024 at 5:14 PM
800k holy fn shiii thats a lot of money, how do you guys live! Daaaaam thats expensive. Does everyone rent? But if homes are that expensive then rent must be too. Dang thats crazy, i cant imagine living like that.
December 29, 2024 at 5:08 PM
You dont have to mortgage your homes fir healthcare because you cant afford to buy a home in Canada 🤣. The average price of a home in Canada is almost an F'n million dollars brother lol. 800k for the average single family home in Canada. Daaaaam thats expensive.
December 29, 2024 at 5:02 PM
Less variety and higher prices is a big deal, especially when were talking about basic needs. Canadians cant afford to live off of whats available. Thats a terrible way to live. I cant imagine having to cross the Peace bridge to get a gallon of milk because i cant afford to buy it back home.

I agree

I love Toronto, and both sides of the Falls. And Florida, and Cali, and everything in between
December 29, 2024 at 7:26 AM
Also, I'm not a fan of Trump. Can't stand him, still a patriot though. Not like you asked but people might think i am a fan because of my position on this particular subject
December 29, 2024 at 7:24 AM
Anytime I've ever been to Toronto or the Falls it was for entertainment, spent money there because i wanted to. Didn't have to make the trip because a gallon of milk was to expensive. Canadians travel to the US fir entetainment as well but many come because they can't afford those things in Canada
December 29, 2024 at 7:22 AM
How many would change their minds if they couldn't get what they NEEDED from the US?
