Some pretty and soft moss nearby my home. Love the little leaf looking parts on it. Not sure the species. My moss knowledge is extremely minimal. Still pretty!

Found these Juniper berries nearby my home. I suspect this is Juniperus sabina which would make these quite toxic, but I am no expert (experts welcome to identify!) I’ve recently gotten into plant and tree identification and I’m appreciating them a lot more because of it.

My little (big) experimental terrarium is going well I think. The only plant that’s dying is the bamboo sadly. My Araneus gemmoides is not visible but she has a large web built just above this little garden.

Discovering just how big the spiders in my region can become. I believe this to be an adult female Eratigeria atrica who I discovered at my in-laws house. Her leg span is easily 2.5-3 inches which makes her the largest “true” spider I’ve personally found.

My photogenic Grammastola porteri, Pepper. She’s at least 15 years old now but is most likely a bit older as I bought her as an adult. I’m hoping she lasts another decade :D
