Tbh it feels a bit meh when you say this, but then just ignore the actual requests to be added. It's completely fair if you want to be exclusive and picky, only add people whose work you like or that you're friends with or whatever, just be honest about it

You're welcome :) I think maybe it's like that the interviews are free the first month or so, when they're out. Or at least it used to be

nice, thanks. I'll have a look. One recommendation I could add could be Nearest Truth, of which I've quite enjoyed some episodes. It's not on regular podcast apps unfortunately, and also partly paywalled, but some of the episodes can heard for free at their website nearesttruth.com
