Hi there! I’m Alex - a queer, neurodivergent, and disabled NC-based photographer, creative, activist, and general human being just trying their best, and this is me trying to make friends on a new platform ✌️

The ground is littered in pine needles and other debris, and the tree line across the lake (not pictured, but in the distance) can be seen in grey tones in the background. Subtle hints of green can be seen on the ground among the shadows in the middle of the photo. A double exposed photograph of a bookcase and a man from the waist up. The bookcase is dark-lit and at an angle, containing books of various sizes and colors. The bookcase is most visible where it overlaps with the person, and barely visible everywhere else. The man is wearing a white long sleeve crewneck shirt with the sleeves bunched up, looking into the distance. They have a short beard and curly dark hair poking out of a beanie which is barely visible. There are a couple of trees missing leaves silhouetted at the very bottom in the distance. The bark is brown and typical and covered in hints of white and green mosses, and in the center is a stack of five mushrooms growing from the side of the tree. They’re half-moon shaped and the colors range from deep orange to white at the tip. The third mushroom down is the largest, and there is a green vine with leaves growing up from the bottom right corner of the photo. The vine appears to be growing through that big mushroom, or the mushroom around the vine? Either way, they’re connected, and both seem happy to be there anyway.
