In the 30s and 40s Superman fought against corruption and corporate exploitation of the people, he gave Hitler a strictly non-aryan sock to the jaw and forced the world to be better than it was. Maybe it's time for the genre to get back to our roots.

So often fiction rises to meet the hearts of the people, to fill the hole in their hearts and loves. In times of darkness, I find great comfort in looking to Superman as a light in the dark. I understand if you can't pick up the pen right now, when everything feels so heavy, but I hope you try 1/?
