As someone who actually went to the movie on Friday, let me say this. Where is the 'woke' criticism coming from? This story was, while not the finest in the MCU, a realistic telling that had heart, empathy, and a lot of good feeling. It also had some head-scratchers. 'Woke' wasn't it.

Why no identification? I didn't hear ANY due process being delivered. Why the facemasks (the camo was an un-subtle touch)? I'm guessing we've traded the brown-shirts and heel-clicking, goose-stepping, garden-variety Klan for the hooded sweatshirt, incel-bearded, fat white guys... ICE????

The real tell for an advanced degree is an obsession with Huarache making. Chipotle baristas are great but they’re everywhere. It’s the ones making huaraches and empanadas. That’s some next level shit.
