LFC supporter here - PSG the better team over two legs. Less weakness in their squad/starting XI than ours. They should win it this season or next. Fact they are oil state backed means I hope you beat them and any other state backed team

Injury delta of Arsenal last season was a joke too - I’m certain that’s the reason injuries have spoiled this season

It’s all natural variance, last season we were hammered by injuries and key referee decisions. Combined with a more conservative style of play under Slot and different training style = less muscular injuries. Klopp was hated by ref’s too, think that’s helped

That’s the problem - everybody else is waiting for City slump seasons. They’ll be back bigger than ever next season no doubt and it’ll be a lock out for another 5 seasons. Sucks if your Arsenal for example

Yeah fair play - Salah been masking some deficiencies in our squad for a while as has VVD & Ali last night but underlying team data is very strong. Slot is seemingly a borderline genius the way he’s adapted us tactically. We were exceptionally lucky last night TBF, I’ll give you that!

For what it’s worth general LFC perspective was you enjoyed a very good run re fitness last season and we suffered badly including with refs. Interesting it seems to have flipped this season i.e. your injuries and perception of refs - perhaps natural variance or perhaps skewed perspective

Please acknowledge the total lack of ‘luck’ LFC had with injuries & referees last season which cost us a run at the title, the two things I’m sure even out over time

Without the Death Star that has been City, LFC win multiple titles and are seen as one of the all time dominant forces of English football. Stop pretending this is anomalous in some way. LFC have 3 all time PL players in this current squad. How many do Arsenal have?

I’ve basically decided PGMOL are to some extent incompetent and to another extent corrupt. When you view it through a corrupt lens it makes so much more sense. Still waiting for the decisions negatively impacting City years after starting

Agree - isn’t at the level required consistently enough. Far too erratic. How much would we get for him and from who? £30-40m player. Maybe an Italian club or Atleti type club?
