He also refers to AOC, Murphy and Khanna as the real racists who would deny someone a job based on skin colour as an explicit contradiction to Nick Fuentes. We all thought someone like Vance would be dangerous if you made a non-idiot represent Trumpism, but it’s actually even less convincing.

lol pretty much. I definitely know a few, just because I have some friends that are movie nerds. But the first was definitely ‘water cooler talk’ and the next ones, not so much. Plot-wise, the latter ones seem to be more current.

I have literally never hear anyone talk about or mention they’ve seen Avatar 2 or 3, except actual movie reviews.

Tons of potential on this team, no one needs an FA or trade or two. Can’t imagine many teams have 5 positions with 3+ WAR projections. And yet some of the easiest to fill are weaker. Ryan O’Hearn alone is worth a couple wins.

It goes both ways too, with party discipline. Because parties are more disciplined in other countries, you don’t have all this pork and bullshit put into bills to satisfy holdouts

It’s hard to say what wins out - how just deeply stupid these people are, how impossibly over their heads they would be leading even a Cub Scouts seminar, never mind with experienced congressional questions, or how much they just do not care at all about the process or consequences.

Something similar happened where I live in Nova Scotia. In less than 24 hours it went from -10 (-20 with the wind chill) to +7, 49 degree swing. Scarves and snow pants yesterday, just a sweater today. Some coastal spots had an even bigger swing. Climate change is a bitch!

Honestly, I’d be nearly as happy with Fairbanks or putting the same money to two lesser relievers. Dude is 35 with a weak strikeout rate, not a long track record and solid but not elite peripherals. I’d have liked him of course but this isn’t a heartbreak to me.

Did you know that Yastrzemski will be THIRTY-FIVE next year? I was thinking it was an ok deal with his k/bb and defence ticking up last year, but in my head he was like 31. Multiple years for that sure is…something.

Yep, ‘agentic’ is just a buzzword now that people are going to put in front of every AI use to make it sound fancier. The case he described could’ve been accomplished by a fairly simple Python script.
