Today’s movie recommendation is The Strangers. This unsettling thriller is the top shelf of Home Invasion movies. I will never be able to listen to the 1968 song “Mama Tried” by Merle Haggard and the Strangers the same way again.

Of the many roles the talented Bill Murray has done in his successful film career, his role of Ernie McCracken in KingPin is my favorite. Cracks me up Everytime.

Saw X was one of the best entries in the horror franchise delivering the gore and a great backstory. It takes place between the first two movies focusing on John Kramer. Tobin Bell was made for this role. Be sure to stay in your seat for a can’t be missed mid credit scene.

When this cereal came out in 1988 I was a big fan. It was packaged just like Nerds Cereal in two different bags. Sure the fruity cereal in retrospect wasn’t that tasty as it had a warped berry flavor. But the Nintendo Power Cards and other NES gimmick merchandise leveled up my breakfast big time!

I have to give credit to how smart J. Wellington Wimpy is. He loves burgers so much he has the perfect con to feed his voracious appetite with his infamous catchphrase “I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger Today”. And never on a Tuesday will he make an appearance. This glutton is my hero.

Today’s Movie Post is Shallow Grave. It’s a cautionary tale about friendship. Danny Boyle crafted a must see top notch thriller in his directing debut. Also features Ewan McGregor in one of his earliest roles and he was fantastic in it. If you can’t trust my film recommendations well what then?!
I miss being a Private Investigator. The Dames that didn’t give me business, the Jazz Noir soundtrack that played over my short choppy cool monologues, my black & white office complete with a slow moving ceiling fan, and the cases that I never solved that still haunt me. Never found that cat Fluffy.

I enjoy driving slowly behind joggers blasting “Eye Of The Tiger”on the radio at full blast for encouragement! Sometimes I get a little too carried away singing along and accidentally run one or two of them over but these things happen.

Todays movie recommendation. Irwin Allen’s The Towering Inferno is the Gold Standard for Disaster Movies! The cast is impressive. There is a death scene in this movie that still haunts me to this day when I think about it.

Found a Hannibal Funko Pop in outstanding condition at my local Five Below. Folks when you find something that makes you happy like a toy based on a movie about a Doctor who eats his patients for dinner you should post about it.

I wore Sweatpants way before it became a cool fashion trend. These days I wear pajamas like Hugh Hefner used to. Just need to order a pipe and see if I can get a thousand Supermodels to come hang out with me by the pool. Not sure how well my girl is going to like this but that’s a tomorrow problem.

Well I can officially cross off eating a Burger made nearly of equal parts Ground Beef, Elk and Venice off my bucket list from a fast food place. Thanks Arby’s. Looking forward to the Cheetah, Boar and Ostrich sandwich next week.
