With only 40 seconds from Belgorod to Kharkiv, it’s a lottery living there.

A Ukrainian lady I know, who’s mother is in occupied Kherson oblast, has had to take Russian citizenship to receive any social support.
Property is being seized.
Russian men feel entitled to harass Ukrainian women.
Horrible stories heard virtually everyday.

Looked at Operation Bluecoat in some depth on our recent Normandy trip.
We walked the route (pic 1) of Lieutenant (possibly A/Captain) Steel Brownlie’s Sherman troop, 2/Fife & Forfar Yeomanry, as he probed south of Perrier ridge towards the Vire-Vassy road (pic 2) on 3 August 1944.
