No one except Isha actually respected jinx as a complex individual who deserved love for being what she was, acknowledging her faults while also loving her as a person. Isha was the only true, fully accepting relationship that Jinx had, Isha was the only person who understood her.

silco’s relationship with jinx was very codependent but the same way he convinced her that she should accept being broken as a strength the others tried to convince her that she was still broken and needed to be fixed.

This isn’t disrespect to arcane btw! They did a very good job portraying ekko and jinx’s relationship I just view it very differently to the masses I guess

Very 500 days of summer coded of a man pedistooling a woman and creating a delusion of what she was/is based on his own wants or desires. I know that’s because he’s essentially grieving a friend he lost but that’s why I don’t like it as an actual relationship.

Jinx rejected powder she doesn’t want to go back to being a naive child who is blind to the horrors of the world she just wants to be loved secure and accepted. Ekko isn’t going to do that unless she conforms to his ideal vision of what he wants. The flash back scene didn’t feel cute to me it felt

Ekko doesn’t love jinx he loved powder and powder is dead. I love ekko as a character but it’s a massive disrespect to jinx’s autonomy and all she survived that he only loves her through the eyes of what she “was” jinx deserves someone who loves her as she is despite the mess, despite the trauma
