American narrators only have two English accents, Received Pronunciation and cockney. Give me a soft Somerset accent, or a vibrant northern accent, please. Just anything other than upper class or London, there's so much more to England than that.

I feel very strongly that any American who wants to say twat should have to take a five week course on it's pronunciation, ending with an hour long test before they are allowed to say it in public.
And double that if you're recording an audiobook.

There's two ways a spicy fantasy book can go. Spice with a story, and story with spice.
They may sound similar but one is just spice with some background noise, and the other is a good story with some spice in it. They are very, very different.

Don't get me wrong, I love being Gen X, but lately I've come to realise that our deal with it attitude probably hides more trauma than we'd like to admit.
