Instead of squabbling about whether it was a republican or democratic shutdown, the Dems need to own it. Be aggressive. Their argument should be: you’re damn right we democrats shutdown the govt. We did it to stop republicans from taking health care away from your families. You’re lucky we’re here

This is where Trump’s inability to think to the next level is really revealed. He is denying increasing prices when he should know that millions of shoppers are out there factchecking him. If you’re gonna lie, lie about something like unemployment that people can’t so easily verify in everyday life

My guess is that there are things in the file that are worse than what people already know and Trump is worried about that. I doubt he’s trying to prevent the release of the Epstein files because they’re so good…

Whatever her reasons, and I’ll take her at her word it’s for the victims, she’s on the right side of history. Going to such lengths to prevent disclosure while spewing contradictory explanations only leads people to the conclusion that the WH is hiding something worse than what we already know

He’s not thinking straight. If the people he wants investigated did what he’s suggesting, then they’ve been keeping quiet about whatever it is Trump is worried about in the Epstein files. Investigating them is sure to cause them to start talking.

That was my line expectation when I heard Zegras was coming. Michkov & Zegras have exceptional vision and are great passers. Tippett has size and speed but needs to get himself net front. He could pop in 15 rebounds a season.

Dems surrendered ACA subsidies while being on the right side of the issue & the public was blaming Trump, having just swept an election with the wind at their backs…and Speaker Johnson is saying he’s not putting the issue before the House…so those 8 dems have killed the subsidies at the heart of ACA

Sure, now it’s the shutdown responsible for US losing 60,000 jobs. He says “we’ll never know how many jobs were lost in Oct” but he knows the shutdown will cost us $60,000 jobs. How many will Trump’s tariffs cost us? Bet he won’t know that either.
