I agree, but, I think its important to help the general public understand the amount of political violence that gets unleashed on them via policy decisions.

It’d be easy to disavow political violence while also pivoting and putting into perspective the political violence inflicted by them daily

I’m not saying it’s what I want, but I’m saying it’s a natural consequence of what’s been going on for the last decade+

Like, if I was a politician and someone asked me how I felt about this, I’m turning that question around and talking about the countless people we’re disappearing off the streets

Those people I will welcome with open arms if they come to their senses. The Kirk’s and the Shapiro’s of the world really don’t deserve that humanity, no grifter does imo

I think we also cannot be affording people who, in their day to day life, actively seeks to use everything they have to harm the masses the same humanity as the rest of us as a default. This isn’t just some random person who had views, he knowingly used his influence to cause harm

I agree that nobody should be shot on a college campus (or anywhere, for that matter.) but I object to framing it as “political violence is wrong” because fascism is perpetual political violence turned inward on a nation. Scary times
