Its happening. I know of several farmers here in my area that are making different plans. They will have to make cuts in labor, animals, purchases, and that will trickle down to more financial discomfort for others in farming. Restaurants will suffer, as tariffs make imported goods more expensive.

As a working cheesemaker, I know a thing or two about listeria, and let me just say this -- you don't even want to say the word. It loves hard to clean nooks and crannies, it loves cold refrigerated surfaces, and most of all it LOVES to multiply. So what could POSSIBLY go wrong?
