As a Midwesterner, rooting for New York City against the DOJ has the same feeling as rooting for the Eagles against the Chiefs.

The fact that NBC can (accurately) call the Administrative Procedure Act “obscure” just shows how little Americans know about how their government works.

It literally is one of the most important laws ever enacted by Congress.
"Arbitrary and capricious"

A law that requires federal agencies to follow the correct process when making changes in policy is becoming a big hindrance to Trump and his shock and awe makeover of the government.

New, from me 👇

This obscure law is one reason Trump's agenda keeps losing in court
Lawsuits challenging Trump policies raise big constitutional questions, but they also rely on a law that requires the government to follow the correct procedures when changing course.

In addition to the downfall of democracy and twilight of America, the worst thing about Trump 2.0 for me has been having to learn about crypto

Appointing Jim Tressel as Lt. Governor of Ohio is a real shot across Big Gretch’s bow I guess.

Is this Super Bowl spot a joke? Because it’s literally a montage of things that this administration has ended, like unions, multiculturalism, suffrage, civil rights, medical research, flood and fire aid…. And it’s Fox’s fault.

If Congress cared even a little about data privacy then they would do what almost every other nation has done and pass a federal privacy law. The fact that every single proposed comprehensive privacy law has died in Congress shows they don’t actually care at all about our personal data.

Don't let Donald Trump extending the TikTok ban distract you from the fact that his Administration is about to conduct mass deportations across America in a matter of days.

Donald Trump is using TikTok to distract Americans from the fact that he has no plans.

The TikTok ban is going to go down as the biggest and stupidest self-own by Democrats, which is honestly saying something because it’s a long list. Take away something beloved by every core constituency of your party just to give Trump the chance to look like a hero giving it back. And for what.

The local news just referred to JD Vance as being suited and booted and I cringed so hard I gave myself lockjaw.

There was a time when I would have protested Biden pardoning his son and what that means for integrity and rule of law, but honestly whatever. At this point Biden could take control of Marine One and land it on Daytona Beach and I’d just be like “yep this is a thing that happens in 2024 America”

The august checks and balances enthusiasts in the Senate who clutched their pearls when Obama wanted to make one (1) recess appointment sure seem cool with letting all that slide now that the President-elect is a Republican who wants to fill his entire cabinet with unqualified cronies.
