Were our motives pure? No. Was the fighting all nobility and justice. No. No war is. Could we have chosen better tactics yet. But as far as wars go, it was not a total travesty. Which for war is saying something

If Germany controlled Europe and kept its partnerships, they could’ve done immense economic & military harm. Japan had shown the US could be hit. Germany was an actual danger and an inherently evil government. I know we don’t always stop evil as a country. But we did that time.

You’re just not gonna get buy in at this point. No one wants masks or other protocols. For better or worse that’s where we are at even with progressive church gatherings.

I’m guessing this is AI. But if it wasn’t Jesus would say “Great, your house was spared so you can help all your neighbors. Give them space to sleep, food to eat, and help them rebuild. Give them some money And ask for nothing in return.”

I dunno if theology has changed so much as people’s interpretations sure have! Nice to see another Buckeye. I’m living in Chicago suburbs. So I can’t complain. But I spent seven years in rural TX which was…a wild ride politically. Lots of good people. Lots of bad politics.
