In Takwa v. Co-operators, the LAT dismissed the claim for accident benefits, finding the Applicant could not simply submit evidence and leave it to the Tribunal to connect the dots to make his case. Congrats, Laura Emmett. #TheSBAWay

A dog walker bitten by Forrest Gump - not a movie character, but a dog - sues for damages. In dismissing the claim, the Court concluded that the dog walker was an owner within the meaning of the applicable legislation. #TheSBAWay

I am deeply grateful to the (many many) women who’ve helped shape my journey. My hope is that I can offer the same support and empowerment they’ve given me to others.
