If only we paid more taxes to fix the climate...

You can go on thinking Europe has the capability and the will to boot Russia out of the Ukraine, no one else really believes that.
December 10, 2025 at 4:21 PM
So are you saying that the US didn't sacrifice a few hundred thousand troops in WWI & WWII saving Europe from the world wars they started?? NATO is a solid alliance, however Ukraine is not part of that alliance & the US doesn't need to get militarily involved?
December 9, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Yeah, Europe's involvement was a drop in the bucket compare to the US' involvement in WWI & WWII. It's hilarious that people think the only time Article 5 was triggered was because there was no Article 5 until AFTER WWII was over.
December 9, 2025 at 3:39 PM
It's the least Europe could have done to repay the US for the hundreds of thousands of US soldiers that died freeing Europe from their two world wars. Also, the US could have gone in to Iraq alone if it wanted to.
December 9, 2025 at 3:36 PM
They kinda do though, because they don't have the military power to get themselves out of a paper bag.
December 9, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Europe is blowing smoke about helping Ukraine but they know that when push comes to shove, they don't have the military capability to do anything. That's why Trump is negotiating a settlement w/ Ukraine giving up some territory, because the US is not going to war over the Ukraine.
December 9, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Canada and Mexico are just as weak as Europe is. Trump would love nothing more than for them to get off the US teat and get strong on their own but they won't because they'll go bankrupt.
December 9, 2025 at 3:30 PM
He's not wrong, Europe IS weak and irrelevant. He's been trying for years to get them off the US teat however they don't have the political will to do so.

You're right about the only way to deal with others is through strength, Europe just doesn't have any strength 🤷‍♂️

Oooh sanctions! Whoop dee doo. There’s a reason Putin invaded when Obama & Biden were in office and not when Trump was. Trump is cleaning up the mess now.
December 6, 2025 at 7:12 PM
Yeah, that’s so much worse that sitting on your hands while Russia invaded Crimea under Obama & the rest of Ukraine under Biden. But but but whatabout taking sanctions off Lukeoil! 🙄
December 6, 2025 at 2:59 PM
It becomes less politically costly for Party A to to something to respond to what Party B would have done, as evidenced by Republicans taking the Judicial filibuster rule one small step further than what Democrats did.
December 5, 2025 at 9:44 PM
You couldn't be more wrong, but you do you....
December 5, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Hmmm, then maybe Republicans should do that now and make it harder for Democrats to undo? 🤔
December 5, 2025 at 7:18 PM
How? Republicans could have simply gotten rid of the law and written a new one. And you refer to Republicans as fascists? Didn't you learn after Democrats changed the judicial appointment rules under Harry Reid? 🙄
December 5, 2025 at 4:00 PM
And you understand how Republicans would have that again this year, right? 🙄
December 5, 2025 at 1:20 PM
Tell that to the Central Park Five or the Duke University Lacrosse Team, Henry & Leon McCollum, Kimberly Long, Suzanne Johnson...
December 2, 2025 at 9:20 PM
I agree, however Europe still doesn't have the military power or the the political will to do anything otherwise they would have. Russia does have energy resources which will be able to get their economy back on track again once this mess gets resolved.
December 2, 2025 at 2:21 PM
It's not about how it looks, it's about the fact that Europe doesn't have any ability to stand up to Russia militarily. If they did, they're free to do so however they're not going to be able to rely on the US to bail them out if (when) they fail
December 1, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Pulling the slack with what? Europe couldn't fight it's way out of a paper bag.
December 1, 2025 at 2:14 PM
It'll be over in around 3 years & most likely followed by either Vance or Rubio. Even if it's not, the next Democrat won't admit them.
December 1, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Umm, our country does have the last word though. Ukraine wasn’t allowed to join under Clinton, Obama or Biden & certainly won’t be allowed to join under Trump or future Republicans.
