Those close to me were amazed at my vision and my capacity to hope. I see darkness for months on end. I see hope. What “they” are doing, it cannot last. It will not find cooperation in the majority and we will not be enslaved. Other nations that have succumb to autocracy, lack what we have:

Best thing I read/heard today; when we are on the other side of all this shit, God willing and our nation is still intact, No Kings day should be a holiday and if Trump builds his arches, rename them to honor the no king’s sentiment.

I would never want to make light of dementia, I have lived with it in my mom and now a brother. I will admit, “Dementia Don” is one of the most fitting labels it have heard. If his brain still worked, man would he be pissed!

Dementia Don, this is a name that should take hold, but I don’t want to disrespect or make light of those who suffer from it their families.
With family who have and have die from Alzheimer’s, I think Dementia Don would be seen as acceptable in light of how he has cut benefits.

I am confused, if the point is deportation, why do we detain anyone, let alone need to add 40,000 more beds and add detention centers. Sounds like the point is more detention than deportation. And tell me how this is different from 1934 Germany? This isn't about crime, this is a brown purge.

25 days since last post. Why? Because each new day brings another version of the same insanity from our government. I have run out of words to describe the stupidity. I wasn't even shocked that POTUS was speculated to have pooped his pants, somehow it just seemed so poetic and symbolic.

A majority of those polled by a conservative pollster see Trump as more corrupt than other Presidents. Asking for a friend: \Is it too early to say I told you so? I have been hanging on to this for 10 years. Thought Jan 6th was my day but didn't seem to open any eyes.

What has occurred in Texas is tragic. My heart feels heavy for the parents.
I overheard a question today,it wasn’t asked in good faith, but the actual question was valid; would there exist such an outpouring of grief had these children be undocumented? What if the deaths were in the Rio Grande?

I don't think a fully funded NWS could have prevented the tragedy in Texas, but it should cause pause for those who can make decisions, a smaller staffed NWS and NOAA will cost lives in the future.
