Section 32 (Agricultural Adjustment Act Amendment of 1935) is expressly to "Encourage the domestic consumption of agricultural products" - funding snap via section 32 does exactly that.

That's clearly a lawful basis. And its been done before in past shutdowns.

The judge rightly directs the usage of section 32 funds which, per the relevant law, exist to "Encourage consumption of U.S. agricultural commodities" [7 U.S.C. § 612c (“Section 32”)].

Some of these funds go to children nutrition programs... but not all. And the excess can go to SNAP. Easy fix.
