i kind of vicariously enjoyed gqux's commitment to its weird obscure bit, but i couldn't forgive it for how it muscled out any opportunity to actually characterize its 2 protags (let alone shoving a cardboard boy in between them)

not artist but i have one. i found the hardware endlessly frustrating, the worst issue of which being that the bios can't suspend to ram on linux. i like the philosophy but in practice ive been able to service thinkpads equally well. honestly, if you want mine you can have it. feel free to ask more

Which is why his position on AI is one that only factors in the creative and ethical side of things. Since for him, that's the facet of AI that he's been exposed to and mentions, rather than the socio-political, environmental, and educational issues it brings.

That is not to say that humans being replaced by AI has not happened in Japan, it definitely has in the more exploitative sectors, such as the anime industry. But it hasn't become the public menace that the English speaking world has to contend with.
