I’ve no issue with warranted downsizing & cuts. They should engage with firms experienced in govt contracts & acctg to do actual audits & show real numbers & facts. Make cuts based on numbers & facts. Don’t randomly destroy the govt & people’s lives! That’s not who the US is.
