Adored this series very much.
Goodness me oh my, lotsa fun art.

Oh,
whoops.
Correction.
I don't mean exclusively unique to him, that was a placeholder.
This manner of writing is prevalent all over comic writing.

Just, in the way he goes about it I find he has a particular flavor that I enjoyed.

Personally, I find it hilarious.

But uh, yeah,
hard thing to recommend.

Anyway, sorry about the long response.
I barely write on here because I dislike the format.

As a story itself, uh, it's hard to get behind.
I feel like, when it comes to something with a plot, it's better off hiring a writer who specializes in that.

To reiterate, the guy had broad strokes as to what he'd like to do in the overall, but the finer details as to how to get there suffered.

The trajectory of his art style over time too, the things he'd invested interest in developing is visible and exciting. Something completely lost by the abstraction of anime translation.
The guy wore his inspirations so bare, literally naming characters from the things he was pondering.

As a piece of literature though, it is not.
For a comic composed for a magazine targeted at the boy demographic it's doing some curious things.
Posing and style taking inspiration from atypical sources such as fashion magazines and the like, it's pretty cool from that perspective, I think.

Hm, yeah, that's about it.
The writer consistently writes himself into a corner and has to bullshit his way out of what he's done. With that in mind, I find it particularly unique.
I'd read through them as a teenager and looking back on it, it's the visual art that I still carry around.
