Gameplay is a slow burn of exploring, cleaning up overgrowth and problem-solving space systems. Look as much as I think he's definitely brandonized beyond recovery in this case he's leading a group of people in swearing an oath to the military or something so this is not a mistake. He should still die though

I'm not sure how to find out definitively but the singer "Mona Lisa" who is a character in the game has a couple songs in the game, and I couldn't find anything saying that it's licensed music from an existing artist.

There should be some nomenclature for songs that are written to be included in fiction as the work of a fictional character. Another example: Phantom Crash had a pop star character whose music made up part of the soundtrack

Having played through BG3 8 times now I think the most impressive thing the game does is have a pretty stereotypical D&D type Adventure that also happens to be about a bunch of people in abusive relationships feeling the creeping influence of their abuser in every moment. Including the player

I get why it has mixed reviews, it's so visually busy that I think a lot of people had trouble parsing all the stuff going on. There's some odd-looking scenes, but it's all clearly in service of a clear vision of something cool. John Goodman fighting ninjas in the middle of the film was a surprise!
