No it's not. As he said fast track has already been there - just selective. And selective is what we need. It is good for NZ when used appropriately. So he's right there.

On a side note your response above acknowledges that you did take it out of context earlier.

I've watched it at that point and he only said yes to keeping the patches (if it's working keep it eh?). Fast tracking - his words "we had fast tracking before, we are not opposed to fast tracking". If it means quick approvals for kainga ora homes, why not? (Again working mean why not eh!?)

Can you please share the link of an article or video of him saying those 2 things in that same speech? Because afaik he never went into specifics coz its too early to say 'what's working'. So please enlighten us all with a link?

You are taking his comments out of context. He said what's working should not be paused or cancelled for the sake of politics by next government. That doesn't mean everything should/will not be cancelled.
