Dear Gallery Patrons and Creators, Thank you for participating in the Bangtan Art Gallery show, ‘Written Word and Fan Art’ ca. 2024. As your curators, we cannot even begin to express our joy at creating this fest for you. We felt this idea was not only unique but inspiring, but we didn't know how it would be received. Our hope was that if people participated, the result would be a strong variety of works hailing from a multitude of influences. We're happy to say we were correct! But this would never have happened without all of you. “Thank you” will never be enough for all the time and support put into this fest, from our mods to our graphic designer, writers, artists, readers, and fellow art aficionados. Before we sign off, we'd like to leave you with a little homework: notice art wherever you go. This includes everything from internationally acclaimed masterpieces to a lesser-known works of local artists to bts edits on social media. Notice who made it, what you like about it, what it makes you feel, and how it inspires you. And, most importantly, always remember proper citation. Prompting Information. Fill out the prompting form, do not prompt on AO3. No top/bottom requests. Comply with restructions. Main pairing must be bts member x member. Max of 3 prompts per artwork. Up to 10 prompts can be submitted per erson. Self-prompts allowed. This fest is centered on artworks as the pormpt, so we want to let the art speak for itself. You may add: one (1) trope, your preferred ship, and your DNWs.

For the purposes of this fest, art means static art. This includes: paintings, prints, sculptures, installation art, ceramics, text art, landscape art. This does not include: video art, writing, poetry, books, architecture, or theater. All art must be cited. Fan art is not allowed for prompting (this is because of crediting issus, not because we don't love fan art!) Nudity is allowed, but graphic images must be cleared with fest mods. Non-western art encouraged!
