that sucks. i also get the feeling that much like indie games themselves, successful indie coverage is probably largely reliant on getting lucky

ik you're not the executive at IGN so this isn't at you but the grass is greenest where you water it and expecting immediate returns on a niche area of coverage will always result in failed expectations. imo a dedicated section for indie coverage would help build a community that would drive traffic
