Back at you bro. I feel hopeless and helpless too. But the only way we can make change is to dig in and do. And I believe in us, even if I’m scared of them.

I cry multiple times a day. I had a firm offer letter for a promotion that was rescinded. It was my family’s opportunity to move to a better school district and afford childcare. Now, it’s possible I won’t be able to pay any bills, or afford the cost of commuting.

They’re all that way. It’s shocking and frightening.

I don’t believe you’re conservative, but I don’t have the space to participate in nihilism. I also won’t abandon this state because it takes work and activism to make change.

I’m going to disengage with this line of rhetoric.

That is not a possibility for my family. And to assume folks have the means to just pick up and leave is short sighted.

I haven’t been there as long, but I take my position seriously and I am a high performer. I believe in the mission and keeping Americans safe. This job has changed my life and given me purpose to serve my country. Seeing the public hate on us, and being terrorized every day, is demoralizing.

I’m not MAGA. I live in a red state. I’m a fed. I am the primary bread winner. Losing my job would be devastating for us. RTO itself is nearly catastrophic. I’m sick with worry and fear every day.

I work in the federal government. If they cut my job, myself and my three kids under four will be destitute. As it is, we can barely afford our bills. I’m so scared.

I am one of those federal servants who would lose their job. I have three kids and I rely on my income to support my family. I live in constant fear and dread of this incoming administration.
