Mennyire gazdálkodott felelősen a természeti erőforrásaival, illetve mennyire függ fenntarthatatlan eszközöktől, technológiáktól, társadalmi-gazdasági folyamatoktól? Felkészítette-e a társadalmat a radikális átalakulásra, átadta-e az ehhez szükséges ismereteket?

Léteznek-e önszerveződő kisközösségek, mekkora a társadalmi tőke és bizalom szintje, milyen mértékben összetartó és cselekvőképes vagy éppen megosztott és a megosztottság által megbénított a társadalom?
