Tonight's Tonk Tuesday sign, in celebration of Black Music Month and tonight's special "Soul Tonk" concert event, pays tribute to the seminal variety/dance show "SOUL TRAIN," which brought black music and culture into American homes nationwide for 35 years.

I'm absolutely bawling. This is true. This is such an under-discussed part of losing someone (god forbid one's child).
The things people leave behind is frequently all we have of them. We can't just "throw out junk" or "donate" our way past grief.
