One man is dead and another injured after a hit and run on the Bluegrass Parkway in Nelson County, Ky. A Hardin County man is charged in connection. Police say the two were changing a tire on a vehicle in the emergency lane when the driver of a Jeep struck them. Kentucky State Police investigated.

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash today at the intersection of New Shepherdsville Rd and Old Nazareth Rd. The crash happened at about 4:14 pm. One person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

More snow is possible along with bitterly cold temps. The area under winter weather and cold temperature advisories through tomorrow. Up to an inch of additional snow is possible and wind chills in the single digits or lower. This could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

Moderate flooding is happening on the Rolling Fork River near Boston. At 10:30 am today, the river was at 44 feet and is expected to fall below flood stage late Thursday morning. Some roadways in low lying areas remain impacted by the flooding. Don't try to drive through any flooded roadways.

One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Springfield Road and Springhill Drive, Tuesday, Feb. 18. Bardstown Police Department, Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Fire Department were called to the scene at about 4:16 pm. Traffic was backed up for a time.

A Philadelphia truck driver escaped injury after his semi overturned early Tuesday morning on the Bluegrass Parkway. Crews contained a fuel leak and cleared debris. The truck was hauling glass. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. #TrafficUpdate #Kentucky

The Flood WARNING for the Rolling Fork River near Boston, Ky. remains in effect. Major flooding is occurring in the Boston and New Haven areas. Local officials remind motorists not to try to drive through flooded roadways. The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday.

Meeting in regular session Tuesday, Feb. 18, Nelson Fiscal Court voted to accept bids for some critical radio equipment. The equipment is for the Culvertown tower up to two new towers to serve the south end of the county.
