DEI exists so companies cannot block QUALIFIED candidates based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, orientation, etc.

It is NOT used to force companies to hire the unqualified.

Meanwhile, the process of confirming cabinet appointees has had nothing to do with qualifications, except fealty.

And so it begins... Restricting opportunity bc some are no longer safe. This hurts hard-working students--and it will hurt us all by denying access to potential future leaders & innovators.

This notice from the National College Attainment Network went out Thurs., warning immigrant & mixed-status families that it may not be safe for them to file a FAFSA, b/c data may not be protected & people could be targeted.

It can feel foolish to pause to marvel at the stars when the world is burning. Or to find the world beautiful when you’ve known it to betray you.
