The Ricketts Glen Park waterfall hike is great, 21 different waterfalls. Lots of great places, although the coast of California (once you get outside LA) is pretty spectacular, too - bicycled from Marin County north of SF to LA a few years back 😊

Great migratory bird watching at Hawk Mountain or several other sites in the fall, or the great snow goose migration at Middlecreek Wildlife preserve in February-March. Rafting/kayaking/hiking in Ohiopyle State Park (along the GAP trail), w Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Waters house nearby.

Depends on what you like to do, of course. Great long bike/hike trails like the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail from Pittsburgh to Cumberland MD connecting to the C&O Canal Towpath trail to DC (we biked it during COVID 6 days 334 miles, great free campsites all along the GAP trail.
