The massive library of amazing games on the switch is mind blowing. The fact that we got so many Mario and Zelda releases and they are all awesome. Plus the switch online classics are great to play on the go.

I understand that these companies are trying to save a few bucks by doing it this way, but if they ponied up the cash to put the full game on the cart they could charge more and collectors would still buy it.

The games will sell the system. Nintendo learned that lesson since the Wii U. They will
Likely have bare minimum 1 or 2 killer games at launch and more to come later in the year. Mario Kart and a new 3d Mario or Zelda is good enough for me to buy day 1.
