If you could find or fabricate (3d print?) the shell, it should be easy to fit a laptop or Chromebook into it. I've also seen keyboards that look like that one. It would be one heck of a project!

PS, based on the number of EV fires vs EVs on the road (US), the odds of having a fire in a given year are about 1 in 275,000, or 1/100 million on any given day. Way less if you are careful about not overcharging and getting prompt repairs for any accident.

It is absolutely an anecdote. But there are also hard stats to back up the fact that EVs catch fire way less often than ICE vehicles. I don't know the year of the Dodge offhand. He told me, but I don't recall.

I agree with much of this thread, but EVs catch fire WAY less often than ICE vehicles. And if you say, "but the fires are worse", tell that to my friend who's burning Dodge Charger melted his driveway and destroyed his house's siding.
