This map shows breed-specific legislation across the United States, with each red circle marker representing a jurisdiction that has enacted breed restrictions or bans. The markers are heavily concentrated in the Midwest and Eastern regions, particularly around the Great Lakes states and throughout the South. A popup window highlights Prince George's County, Maryland, which is labeled as "Repealed" and lists "Pit Bull-Type Dogs" as the banned/restricted breed. The map uses OpenStreetMap as its base layer and includes a Leaflet attribution.
