Case in point, I’ve marveled at the idea of government owned grocery store reducing costs for goods. It was one of many parts of Mamdani’s platform I admired and envied. A very intelligent professor friend of mine pointed out that this is basically a commissary.

healthcare, education, childcare, readily available efficient public transport, affordable housing, free public spaces, a livable wage becomes that much more attainable to pay out.

You own a business, literally any business, but especially something in a niche market. That market becomes a little less niche if people have disposable income. Livable wage.

Yes, even if you’re working at a theater or theatre. We don’t just live to work. We’re supposed to work to live. Art and entertainment are a part of life.
