It’s a shame that the empathy was labelled as toxic wokeism and weaponised.

It does concern me that this might indeed be true. There are far more things that unite us than things that divide us. But this path has us laser focused on the division.

I feel like the left has genuinely made an effort to hear and understand everyone. Empathy has been pretty core to our position.
