I like DQ, but that would provide better long-term direction for the franchise, and would help capitalize on Jayden being on a rookie contract. Then hire the best DC available and get better (and younger) players all over the roster. Harris & AP gotta be having this discussion, right? #Commanders

DQ very clearly was not the new regime’s first choice when they hired him. They just fired Kliff and elevated Blough from QB coach to OC. He’s highly thought of, but has never called plays. Pairing him with someone like Stefanski or MLF could be great for Jayden and the offensive as a whole.

If I remember correctly, he was Dan Quinn/Washington’s top choice 2 years ago but was blocked from interviewing. Wonder if they make a second push to make him Commanders’ DC after the Joe Whitt experience flamed out this season.
