Facing 2 right now. I initiated a dialog that was meant to show my MC's rebellion against his former higher ups. I'd like to bring the dialog to the point he'll go "I'll do that but I'm not joining you back". And I have a hard time finding a way to write that without making it "childish"

I stopped a long, long while ago.

I have a fantasy fanfic being written and I'm kinda new in the writing universe. I also DM some TTRPGs and I plan to write an original sci-fi novel which will be the sequel of my fanfic.

So much planned, yet so little written...
